The LS 160 AB chipper is the first fully electric battery-powered compact machine for the disposal of wood waste, branches with leaves and needles, trunks and other above-ground plant parts up to 160 mm in diameter. The chipper is emission-free and contains no hydraulic fluid. Robust Lithium-Iron batteries with a safe voltage of 48 V are used as the power source. The machine has an integrated 230 V charger as well as an inverter for optional powering 230 V electrical equipment such as a chainsaw. For towing, a Group B driving licence with B96 extension is sufficient (no written test).
